Important novelty for the building industry: the 5-ply yellow panels.
The yellow formwork panels is an important building products, used to arm walls and slabs. At present, they consist of three layers of 9 mm (total of 27 mm) of carefully dried wood and are available in standard widths of 50 cm and lengths from 1 to 3 meters. On the market, however, an important world innovation has just arrived: the yellow formwork panels with five layers, structures able to offer greater stability and less flexion during use.
Ferro-Met, a Company specialized in the production and supply of scaffolding and props, always attentive to innovation and new developments in the sector, shares this important novelty, recounting the characteristics and advantages of the new yellow 5-ply formwork panels.
5-Ply formwork yellow panels: features and benefits of this new building solution.
The new panels recently launched on the market consist of five layers, instead of the classic three: a 15 mm central layer with transversally arranged veneers and four external rotary cut lamellas with longitudinally arranged veneers. These products are made with certified high-quality wood and glued at controlled temperature and pressure, to guarantee the best result. On their surface there is a melamine resin coating in order to facilitate cleaning operations. The edges are protected, then, with polyurethane varnish (PU) which reduces the absorption of humidity and increases the durability of the yellow 5-ply panel.
The advantages offered by these systems are many:
- Better stability during use.
- Bending resistance: 40 N / mm².
- Easy to use.
- Size stability.
- Elasticity module: 10.000 N / mm².
